PayPal's USD stablecoin issued by Paxos under NYDFS oversight, live since 2023 on Ethereum and Solana.
PYUSD reserves are 1:1 cash + short-duration Treasuries + reverse repos, attested monthly. Cross-chain deployment to Solana (2024) drove rapid TVL growth; PayPal users can move PYUSD into and out of the PayPal app at par.
