CCTP (Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol)
CCTP
Circle's burn-and-mint protocol for moving native USDC between supported chains without third-party bridges.
CCTP burns USDC on the source chain and mints native USDC on the destination chain via Circle attestation. It eliminates wrapped-USDC bridge-credit risk on supported routes, which currently include Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, Polygon, Avalanche, Solana, Noble, and Sui. Circle's Attestation service is the trusted middle.
