Sky's post-Endgame stablecoin, 1:1 swappable with [[dai]], with sUSDS as the yield-bearing wrapper.
USDS launched September 2024 as part of the Maker → Sky rebrand. Backed by the same collateral mix as DAI (heavy RWA + crypto + USDC PSM). sUSDS pays the Sky Savings Rate, broadly equivalent to the DSR (Dai Savings Rate). DAI is not deprecated and remains issued.
