Restaking
Reusing already-staked PoS collateral (e.g., ETH staked via Lido) to secure additional networks or services.
EigenLayer is the dominant restaking platform on Ethereum. Restaked ETH backs additional services (AVSs); operator misbehaviour can be slashed across multiple stakes. Yield = base ETH staking + AVS fees, at the cost of correlated slashing exposure.
