Polygon PoS
Polygon Mainnet
Polygon's original PoS sidechain — EVM-compatible, lower fees than mainnet, validator-set distinct from Ethereum.
Polygon PoS launched 2020 (originally Matic Network). Substantial stablecoin float; Aave v3, Compound v3, QuickSwap deployed. Plans (under the Polygon 2.0 / AggLayer thesis) to migrate towards a zk-validium architecture, but the current chain is a sidechain not a rollup.
