How does StableLens score Avalanche?

Accepted Answer

Avalanche carries a base chain-risk score of 70 on the StableLens v1.0 risk model. Chain risk is one of ten dimensions; the score reflects validator decentralisation, mainnet uptime, finality time, bridge attack history, and ecosystem maturity. Pool-level grades on Avalanche combine the chain score with nine other dimensions. See /methodology/v0.1 for the full breakdown.

What stablecoin yields are available on Avalanche?

Accepted Answer

StableLens indexes Avalanche pools across the major DeFi protocols deployed there. The "Top pools on Avalanche" section on this page lists the highest-TVL opportunities currently indexed. The full /yields directory lets you filter by chain, protocol, risk grade, or APY threshold.

Are bridge bridges to and from Avalanche safe?

Accepted Answer

Bridge risk is captured in the Oracle/Bridge dimension of the StableLens risk model (separate from the Chain dimension). Pool-level grades reflect bridge exposure where applicable. Cross-chain pools using bridged assets carry additional risk that's reflected in their grade.

Does StableLens index every Avalanche pool?

Coverage expands as new chain adapters land. We currently index pools on Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, and Polygon via per-chain Aave v3 + Compound v3 adapters, plus all DefiLlama-tracked pools globally. If a pool you care about isn't listed, file an issue at github.com/DigiDom87/stablelens-v2.

Is the chain-risk score the same for every pool on Avalanche?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The chain dimension contributes the same score to every pool on a given chain — it captures inherent chain-level risk regardless of protocol. Pool-level differentiation comes from the other nine dimensions (smart-contract, issuer, peg, liquidity, counterparty, oracle, regulatory, sustainability, counter-stress).
